Almost every college and university has its own team of cheerleaders. Both men and women may be members of a cheerleading team. 5. Youth athletic association. There are many youth sport teams, and, consequently, youth sport team administrations sponsor cheerleader teams. 6. All-Star cheerleading is not connected with any school, college, or university. It is an independent professional kind of sport.
