How I Learned About the Camo Netting in Army
Being in the military pays off, because you learn how to use things that you would normally never use – in fact, you would probably never even notice them. The military teach you not only how to survive in combat, but also how to make your life as simple as possible and how to use the simple things. For instance, take the camouflage netting; you get yourself a few pieces of it and you can not only save yourself a few bucks, but also use it for so many things such as hunting, boating, Halloween parties, paintball games – and that is just a few to name.
The camouflage nettings are available in a few different colors; when I served in the Army, we mostly used the old, classic "army combat" colors, the ones you associate with the military, painted dark green and brown. We used those for many reasons – from covering our home bases at the field, to covering our equipments, such as trucks, apache helicopters, food containers, etc. We also used small pieces of the netting to cover our guns and ammunition while on the mission; we would simply wrap our guns with the camo netting and carry it around so no one could notice from the distance that we carry the rifle. Sometimes we would also use little piece of the camo nettings to cover our helmets; we would place the fabric around our helmets and leave a tiny piece of the fabric hanging on our faces so that would cover not only our head but also the face.
I still use my camo, which is easy to purchase these days. I use it to cover my fishing boat at the lake or whenever I go hunting I cover my clothes in it, along with the backpack. My grandson who likes to visit me a few times a year uses my camo for his paintball games. The cmao netting is relatively cheap and you can cut the fabric in small pieces as needed, the effect will be great, as I told you; the military is a school of life.
